When you're mother is addicted to the internet...

My mother's a late technology bloomer.  She got her first computer about two years ago from Best Buy.  For Christmas she asked for "a DVD that teaches me to type, but the one with the black lady on the cover."  Lo and behold, Target had 2 different learn to type programs for sale.  One with a white lady on the cover and one with a black lady on the cover.  She diligently worked on her typing every day after work and now she at least knows where all most some of the letters are on the keyboard.  Last month my mother came to visit.  I was surprised to find her excuse herself every night like clockwork to surf the Korean language websites where she got caught up on the news, soap operas, and trends in Korea.  I mean it's not every day that she visits her only daughter who she hasn't seen in a year.  But I digress.  What struck me as particularly interesting was my mother's obsession with this one song.  She would listen to it all the time on YouTube... while putting on her make-up, while changing clothes, while getting ready for bed.  It's not every day that my 60 year old Korean mother from South Carolina shows me things that are even remotely cool (and that's a different post).  So, if you haven't already caught the Gangnam Style fever, then here you are... and you're welcome!
